There are few SUVs that can touch the elegance found in the ultraluxury Bentley Bentayga SUV. Offering power, performance, speed, space, and extravagance in one vehicle, the Bentayga has few competitors. Only the decadent Rolls-Royce Cullinan comes close to matching Bentley's seemingly endless supply of creature comforts and refined performance.
Models and Price
The Bentley Bentayga is an ultraluxury SUV that excels in any environment thanks to its exceptional handling, world-class refinement, and outstanding ride comfort. There are three Bentley Bentayga models available in Toronto, though one is a limited edition run that will only be available for a short time.
The Bentley Bentayga First Edition celebrates the launch of this distinctive SUV and is only available for a limited time. The First Edition includes rare First Edition badging, comes standard with the most desirable options available on the new Bentayga, offers unique contrast stitching on the diamond quilting on the car's upholstery, and more.
The Bentley Bentayga V8 is a well-balanced model that combines luxury and performance in a distinctive look. The Speed's main feature is the class-leading W12 engine that adds a hefty premium to the Bentayga price tag.
The V8 is the lowest-priced Bentley Bentayga, though "low price" is relative. Depending on additional features, any model of the Bentayga could run drivers from $200,000 to $400,000.
Performance
The Bentley Bentayga First Edition and V8 feature the same powertrain--4.0-litre V8 twin-turbocharged engine that goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and features a max speed of 290 km/h. It produces 542 horsepower.
The Bentley Bentayga Speed upgrades the SUV to the 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 TSI engine, which delivers 626 horsepower, 0-100 km/h acceleration of 3.9 seconds, and a max speed of 306 km/hr.
Regardless of what is under the hood, all Bentayga models feature an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Features
Bentley is known for luxury, both inside and out, so it is no surprise that the Bentayga's interior is filled with rich leathers, real wood trim, and glitzy accents that can be customised to fulfill the desires of any driver. Even the seating can be customised with anywhere from seating for four with front and rear bucket seats to seating for seven with a three-person second-row bench and a pop-up two-seat third row. No matter which configuration is chosen, the Bentayga offers plenty of space for passengers and cargo.
All Bentayga models come standard with a 10.9-inch touchscreen that includes smartphone integration and 12-speaker stereo system. A fun addition is an optional entertainment system that offers two 10.2-inch displays mounted to front-seat headrests to keep rear seat passengers occupied.
Drivers can personalise the Bentayga so that it matches exactly what they need, so the interior features will vary from model to model. But suffice it to say, each one will be filled with extreme luxury that has to be seen to be believed.
